Please park considerately!

To improve safety for the new Kingsway Primary school, which is to open soon, and concerns regarding access for emergency vehicles, new on-road parking restrictions have been brought in along Valley Gardens and Thatcham Avenue.

The availability of less on-road parking means that more vehicles will be using the off-road parking areas, so for the good of all those using these areas should please park as considerately as possible.

Yes, Kingsway is your community – but please remember that it’s also your neighbours’ community!

Housebuilder of the Year, Miller Homes is set to launch its latest development at Kingsway in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire in March, with the first phase of the scheme to include 20 stunning properties.

The attractive two phase development, named ‘Miller’s Gate’ is expected to include a mix of three bedroom townhouses, semi detached and detached homes and four bedroom detached homes.

The eagerly anticipated release of prices is due at the start of spring, with homes expected to cost in the region of £195,000 to £350,000.

Miller’s Gate will be built within the Kingsway Urban Village, which is situated on the land of the former RAF Quedgeley base, and has been described as one of the most exciting residential developments in the UK.  Formerly known as Quedgeley Urban Village, this project is seen as one of the greatest successes in consortium development in the UK, offering more than 3,000 homes over a ten-year period, built by a selection of the UK’s top developers.

Centred around the 16th Century Manor Farm, Kingsway will provide a diverse range of stylish new homes, schools, shops and community facilities, all integrated by a modern transport system, ensuring a safe, convenient and attractive place to live, work and play.

Much thought and forward planning has gone into providing top-quality facilities for the neighbourhood. Included in the plans are two new primary schools, a state-of-the-art health centre for doctors and dentists, a community centre and retail outlets.

Linda Androlia, sales director for Miller Homes, said: “We are excited about being involved in this prestigious project. The Kingsway Village will create a fantastic community and provide residents with all the essentials on their doorstep. There has already been a huge amount of interest in this scheme and once prices are released in the next few weeks we expect to be very busy."

“Miller Homes offers a complete customer care package that helps house buyers through the entire moving process and way beyond with after sales support. The build quality of our properties is renowned for being exceptional and customers will even have the opportunity to choose their own finishes when buying off plan.”
